ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
• Review work orders to plan the most efficient method of production to minimize changeovers and maximize raw materials. 
• Assemble and wire mechanical parts per work orders to produce the highest quality products at the lowest possible cost, meeting company performance standards and customer specifications and delivery requirements.
• Complete and verify product checklists for all completed orders.
• Clean, paint, and package finished goods to prepare for shipping.
• Complete quality inspections for co-workers as required.
• Complete special projects as assigned.
• Complete and maintain all required paperwork, records, documents, ect.
• Follow and comply with all safety and work rules and regulations.  Maintain departmental housekeeping standards.

Requirements:
LANGUAGE SKILLS:  Ability to read and comprehend instructions, wirelists, electrical drawings, and work orders.  Ability to prepare all required paperwork and documentation.  Ability to effectively communicate with other employees of the organization.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:  REASONING ABILITY:  Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.  Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.  Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
 
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:  Requires the ability to operate a variety of small hand and power tools, crimpers, meters, and soldering equipment.
